Such Sweet Madness

Radiance can blind you
and others,
such shining to the unrepentant
unbearable
The savage light is its own order.
Energy vortices swirl,
vibrate with power to break
the self created cages,
their only power: illusion.
The bars are not real.
Full realization sets free;
the wild look of love is
such sweet madness.

of the kiss unencumbered by
the created cage.
the frankness of the word
softly touched cheeks
rising excitement
to remain unfulfilled
for now.
Was it just the illusion
of loving the wild path?
Or are we indeed mad?
One might hope so.
